I like to only keep active events in one channel as it can be confusing to have all events in one channel. (People might not notice the date/time has passed or if a channel had events created early on for a much later date but gets buried by new events.)

However, I'd also like to show the past events that we've done for anyone interested in seeing what we've done as well. It would be great if once the event was completed, it would automatically move to a different channel of our choosing.

It would be nice if the archive was on the website. don't necessarily need another channel but since the website already has the listing of previous events a link to another page with all the info would be great.

Have the ability to send the completed event to an "archives" channel so prior event postings can be referenced again to see who signed up.

Add a command to show past/historical events, if you want to see what events have already occurred, or go back and check who attended a previous event.
