Throwing a vote on this. I love how easy the events are to create, but a variable to set an in-channel reminder for x days hours or minutes beforehand would be fantastic

Adding to this, for some events we host/join (recurring matches) we like to post a reminder about the event a day in advance, and then a call to arms to form up 30 minutes or so in advance of the event. Some ability to be able to set up multiple reminders/mentions linked to a (recurring) event, offset from the event time, would be great.

The personal reminders are nice, but let's say you have a channel specific to the event (Event is related to Pathfinder and you have a specific Pathfinder channel). Having a reminder go to a channel rather than each individual requesting a DM would be a useful feature.

Or send reminder to a different channel, like an announcement channel. What can be followed by anybody else, and this way, reminder goes to a different server too if somebody like this. I do :)

I would also love to have more reminder options for one event. Like 3 month before, 1 month before, 1 week before, 1 day. I will use the Events for concert events and therefore a way more wider reminder plan must be set. 15 minutes before the concert is bad...you can not travel anymore to the concert :)

I may as well add this here as it might be good: Can we have more reminder options? like a week or month in advance?

This is a great idea as many of my events last 30 mins but it can take 15 mins to get there so a reminder 15 mins before would be fantastic
