My group has a recurring weekly event that spans 2 days. Right now we have to create an event for each day, Wednesday and Thursday, and as soon as the event for the first day (Wednesday) completes, the notification for the next iteration of that event (the following Wednesday) gets posted. This makes it hard for people to track which weekly event they've signed up for and which ones they haven't. Having the ability to adjust when new iterations of a recurring event get posted would make it far less confusing.
Yes: my community has weekly meetings, but the 1st and 3rd meeting of the month are in-person, and the 2nd and 4th (and 5th if any) are held via zoom. At the end of each meeting, the bot posts a message announcing the meeting of the same type for the *next month*, rather than for the following week. I wouldn't mind just eliminating the automatic end-of-meeting recurrence post, if that's easiest to code first
